These children would otherwise require the type of care available in an acute care hospital or a nursing home.
- Individualized Supports Waiver (ISW). This weaver provides special financial compensation for upto 600 people who have any kind of individual or developmental disability.
- Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities,(IDD). It allows people who fulfill waiver service criteria in Alaska to choose between home and community-based services and institutional care.
